Tournament to Feature 16 Teams from North and South America
CONMEBOL has announced that the 2024 Copa America will be hosted in the United States, with 14 venues across the country set to stage matches. The tournament will feature 16 teams from North and South America, including the 10 CONMEBOL members and six invited CONCACAF nations.
The 2024 Copa America will be the 48th edition of the tournament, and the first to be hosted outside of South America. The United States was awarded hosting rights in 2023, and will become the second country to host the Copa America after Argentina (1929, 1937, 1946, 1959, 1987, 2011).
The tournament will be played from June 14 to July 14, 2024, with the final to be held at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles, California. The full match schedule and venue assignments will be announced at a later date.
