Intel Confirms No 32-bit Driver Available for W7
In a major setback for Windows 7 users with Skylake or Kabylake processors, Intel has confirmed that there is no available 32-bit driver for that device. This means that if you are currently running Windows 7 32-bit, you will not be able to install the ACPI Driver supporting the Windows Operating system.
However, there is a hotfix available for Windows 7 64-bit users. This hotfix will allow you to install the ACPI Driver and resolve the issue. To install the hotfix, simply select the W7 x64 driver from the list, install it, and restart your PC. Once you restart your PC, the details on the device will show ACPIMSFT0101.
This hotfix is only available for Windows 7 64-bit users. If you are running Windows 7 32-bit, you will not be able to install this hotfix.
