Joseph Lee Burrow, known as Joe Burrow, is an American football quarterback for the Cincinnati Bengals of the National Football League (NFL). Born on December 10, 1996, the Ohio-native has established himself as one of the most promising young quarterbacks in the league, leading the Bengals to the Super Bowl in 2022.

College Career

Burrow began his college football career at Ohio State University in 2015 but transferred to Louisiana State University (LSU) in 2018. At LSU, he had a breakout season in 2019, winning the Heisman Trophy, awarded to the most outstanding college football player in the United States, and leading the Tigers to victory in the 2020 College Football Playoff National Championship.

NFL Career

Burrow was drafted first overall by the Cincinnati Bengals in the 2020 NFL Draft. Despite missing most of his rookie season due to a knee injury, he returned in 2021 and led the Bengals to their first Super Bowl appearance in over 30 years. In 2023, he signed a record-breaking five-year, $275 million extension with the Bengals.
